Fletcher i have no qestion of the power of god or even if there is a god . However it ,is very hard for me to carry the gospel of jesus died for our sins or that he was reserected..I can let it go but I cant lie to people; Its like god parded the sea and led his people through the ocean.. It seens more to me for god to have power he seems to reward people of un savory pasts.such as peter and moses..AA does a very good job in transforming none belivers .How ever it also seems to reward a great many of people with such undesirable pasts..You look at history and all the people who were loved by common people succumed to early deaths by murder or oyher ways of death. Such as Jsus Mother Tereesa,,Marten l king, jfk ect.Look at moses he lives to over 700 jesus in his 30′s, Clifferd olsen lives just as long as M Tereasa. As A little kid going to church by self thinking i never want to be like my family. Wanting and living a very honest life luckily to rertaining the values the church taught me.through the grace of god. But i seem to have to lie to my self on some of these issues.I was brought if some wrongs you. or steels from you that you report them, Now seems i have to lrt go let god. Sighned so confused Glen kemp

Hello Glen, Thank you for sharing your struggles with the gospel. In a sense all of us struggle with understanding and fully embracing the gospel in our own different ways. But the Lord God calls each one to believe the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ if we are to be saved. The gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is unique in that it offers us something that no one and nothing else can. It offers us forgiveness forgiveness from all of our sins through the Christ’s sinless life and His sacrificial death on the cross. The AA program and many other programs like it might produce behavioral change in someone, but it cannot offer forgiveness of sin. Only Jesus Christ can do that! All of us, no matter how “good” or “messed” up our lives might be, need Christ! He is the only way of salvation. We need to accept what the Bible (God’s Word) says about us, i.e., that we are sinners – “All have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). It is written in God’s Word that, “None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God.” (Romans 3:10-11 ESV) – All who do not put their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation await God’s eternal and just judgment in hell after this life. “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus, our Lord” (Romans 6:23). I hope that you will find this helpful Glen. Feel free to follow up on this if you wish to do so. Praying for you!

I’m shocked that at such a high moment that we needed God most, there are still people out here who are yet to test the love of God through the appreciation and acceptance of the whole truth in the Bible. The comment has turned my comment to focus on the now the emormous need to evangelise. Christians are wholly responsible for this fact that there are still people out there who are yet to test Love of God. I however take solance in the fact that there is enough Grace for people like my colleague. I pray that the Holy spirit will complement your work in reaching for such people. God is love.

It’s all of grace! Amazing grace indeed – praise be to the Lord, the God of our salvation through Jesus Christ! We are what we are only by the grace of God (1 Corinthians 15:10).

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.
